Humboldt Park crash: Driver, 64, cited after motor vehicle jumps suppress, injures 2, which include boy or girl

CHICAGO (WLS) — A 64-12 months-outdated man has been issued citations after his car or truck jumped a curb, crashing into persons on the sidewalk outdoors a church in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood Saturday.

Surveillance cameras were being rolling the minute the car or truck hit a male standing on the corner all over 11:15 a.m. in the 4200-block of West North Ave on the city’s Northwest Aspect.

An 8-12 months-aged boy and a 61-calendar year-previous guy have been wounded in the incident, according to law enforcement.

The man failed to see the car coming, but a Excellent Samaritan close by observed the incident and rushed in to aid.

Correct driving the gentleman strike by the car was a baby and his mom who had been barely in a position to jump out of the way.

“The younger boy was hollering and screaming. He stated, ‘my foot, my foot,'” stated Excellent Samaritan Jose Sosa recalled. “She pulled her son absent. He was about to get strike at any moment. She noticed it coming.”

Both victims taken to Mt. Sani hospital in fair to excellent condition. The driver was also transported to Storger Clinic in very good issue, formal reported.
